Trial
All new subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. No charge during the trial. You can cancel from the Customer Portal at any time during the trial and you will not be billed.
Refunds after first charge
We offer a no-questions-asked refund within 14 days of the first paid charge, provided you have not used more than 50,000 AI translation characters since the trial ended.
How to request a refund
Email billing@storelingo.com from the email address on the subscription. Include your subscription ID (visible in the Customer Portal). Refunds are processed via Stripe within 5 business days.
Exceptions
Refunds beyond the 14-day window are evaluated case-by-case. We will issue partial refunds for:
- Documented platform outages of 24+ continuous hours.
- Charges that occurred after a cancellation we failed to honor.
- Duplicate charges.
Refunds are NOT offered for:
- Voluntary downgrades (the credit carries forward but is not refunded in cash).
- Periods of low usage on an active subscription.
- Translation quality complaints (translations are AI-generated; we recommend reviewing before publishing).
EU consumers
EU consumer rights apply. You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of first paid charge under the Distance Selling Directive, except for digital services you have actively used (per art. 16m), in which case the no-questions refund above still applies as our voluntary policy.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We resolve refund requests within 5 business days; chargebacks lock the account during dispute and may result in termination.
